Texas aerospace manufacturing gets boost with multimillion-dollar grant

The Texas A&M Engineering Experiment Station was one of five teams awarded grants totaling about $25 million from the Department of Defense to help embed emerging smart technologies like advanced robotics and augmented reality into areas such as defense manufacturing.

SecureAmerica Institute set to galvanize Texas’ aerospace manufacturing community

The Department of Defense has awarded the Texas A&M Engineering Experiment Station (TEES) a grant to establish the Texas Defense Aerospace Manufacturing Community (TDAMC). This five-year program will inject targeted smart manufacturing skills and technologies into Texas’ diverse aerospace manufacturing portfolio to support defense aerospace manufacturing needs and affiliated supply chains across the state.

SecureAmerica Institute to establish an advanced manufacturing crisis response capability for Texas

The SecureAmerica Institute (SAI) is partnering with America Makes, the National Additive Manufacturing Innovation Institute and part of the Manufacturing USA network to increase Texas manufacturing resiliency by aligning capabilities and connecting manufacturing communities in the state to areas of need during crises.
