Voting Membership Engagement
Tier 1 and 2 members in the SecureAmerica Institute are part of the voting membership. As such, these members will elect the governing board (GB) members and vote on matters concerning policy, technology scope, organization, planning, education and workforce development (EWD), and sustainability initiatives.
Governance Board and Advisory Panels
The governance board plays an advisory role to the executive director representing the voting membership. It is the primary voting body for approving the operations of the institute as proposed by the director. Members of the GB are elected from the voting membership.
SecureAmerica leadership may convene advisory panels to assist the institute in the development of technical or non-technical policy, technology and EWD issues.
Roadmap Development
The SecureAmerica Institute roadmap drives the technical and outreach activities of the institute and is revised on an annual basis. To participate in roadmap development efforts, please contact us discuss roadmap development participation opportunities.
Working Groups
SecureAmerica Working Groups are member-led groups that perform activities on behalf of SecureAmerica and advise as necessary (technical and non-technical) on topics such as manufacturing, supply chain resiliency, EWD, federal relations, manufacturing extension partnerships/industrial assessment centers, intellectual property and minority-serving institutions.
