A key element of the SecureAmerica Institute’s approach is our commitment to supporting and working collaboratively with the Manufacturing USA institutes. This demonstrates our understanding of the importance of linking to complementary national efforts under way or being planned within the community.
The SecureAmerica Institute is actively engaged with nine institutes of Manufacturing USA® through the Texas A&M Engineering Experiment Station (TEES) alone. These are MxD, ARM, America Makes, CESMII, RAPID, BioFabUSA, NIIMBL, LIFT and PowerAmerica. We also support all of the other institutes through the collective of our members.
In synergy with our partner Manufacturing USA institutes, our technology development and demonstration portfolio will complement and augment the activities of those institutes. The domain knowledge within the Manufacturing USA institutes will be leveraged to increase the SecureAmerica Institute’s impact toward achieving a more resilient critical manufacturing sector and defense industrial base.
We deliberately encourage cross-institute leverage of technology development investments and ideas. We partner on projects that synergize our mission areas, serve as leverage to each of our work products and eliminate potential duplication.
We strongly encourage all SecureAmerica Institute members to engage with the Manufacturing USA institutes.
