Tim Shinbara is the vice president and chief technology officer for The Association For Manufacturing Technology (AMT) where he is responsible for AMT’s data-centric strategy, industrial research and development (R&D) activities, and global manufacturing technology discovery. Shinbara’s expertise spans applied R&D in additive manufacturing, composite fabrication, and technology transition experience at Northrop Grumman Corporation, information technology/operations technology (IT/OT) data interoperability, and small business, startup endeavors providing supply chain visibility and integration.
Kristie West

Kristie West has been in GE Aviation for the past 17 years working in progressively larger and more complicated roles in supply chain. In her role as GE Edison Works Operations Senior Executive Director, she leads the build out, development and execution of the military unique and classified supply chain; works with the team to drive technology development and transition to manufacturing; and collaborates with experts to ensure compliance with Department of Defense security, collateral and special access.
Scott Baum

Scott Baum has extensive experience in the defense industry and is responsible for leading the development of multi-year strategic growth plans for Elbit America. Prior to joining Elbit America, Baum served as the Principal Director, Office of Industrial Policy for the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition & Sustainment. In this role, he led multiple initiatives to ensure secure and innovative capabilities for both current and future warfighting requirements. He also led a strategic initiative to invest in and expand manufacturing capacity and capability in the United States. Previously, Baum held leadership and program management positions in the U.S. Air Force and Navy. A Colonel in the U.S. Army Reserves, he has had operational experience in Kuwait, Iraq, Afghanistan, China, and Tanzania. He has received numerous commendations for his service, including the Bronze Star Medal, Defense Meritorious Service Medal, and Joint Commendation Service Medal, among others.
